Fundamental studies and new developments for the fabrication of solid-gas nanocomposite films: i) Basic principles. ii) Growth mechanisms. iii) Individualized design of films for their use in Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics experiments. iv) Spectroscopic studies. v) Catalytic coatings.
